Go Dolphins!

The Dolphins are an open, supportive swim team available to children ages 5 to 18 of all fitness and skill levels. The swim team sponsors a pre-team for children ages 3 and 4 who are just learning to swim. Pre-team swimmers participate in swim classes led by teenagers on the swim team. They also get the opportunity to "race" in swim meets accompanied by an older swim team buddy or parent. The Dolphins are charter members of the Montgomery County Swim League.

The swim team holds social activities weekly during the season. These include pancake breakfasts, pajama days, ice cream socials, pizza parties, a lasagna bake-off, and a giant end-of-season awards banquet with trophies and individual award plates for every swimmer.

SWIM TEAM NEWS:

The coach to end all coaches.. our very own Ashley will be back again in 2008! Ashley grew up at West Hillandale and was the anchor for the team for years. She went on to compete at the college level and has now come home to coach. She is dedicated to teaching and supporting each swimmer to strive for their personal best. We are very lucky to have Ashley back again and are looking forward to another winning season. Go Dolphins!
